I have tried to do this experiment
- Get a jpg file
- Change the extension to
.txt - Open the file and add any string on the top
- Open it again, remove the string
- Change the extension back to
.jpg
I expected that the file would open as usual, since it has the original content, but this does not happen. Why?
Note that, if instead I just do
- Get a jpg file
- Change the extension to
.txt - Change the extension back to
.jpg
Everything works, and I cannot figure out why. P.S. I am a Windows 10 user.
