In VSCode, you can right click on a file and select "Reveal in Sidebar". I don't seem to find anything like this in IntelliJ. Anyone know how to show an open file in the directory sidebar?

You can press Shift twice and type Select File in Project View:
or assign a shortcut for that action under Settings/Preferences | Keymap.
To highlight opened files in the Project View by default, select Always Select Opened File in tool window settings:
