so it looks like we've inherited some sloppy work from a previous IT provider that was left unfixed for years (it's only become apparent when trying to apply a new retention policy to the user..).
Exchange: Failed to sync the ArchiveGuid 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 of mailbox de5edb3d-3763-4275-ad1d-d18493a9e061 because one cloud archive e32aefc9-5f1e-4502-a7dc-0d408f1826de exists..;
Apart from seeing if I can find backups of the oldeservers to spin up or migrating the affected users to new identities is there a fix for this?
