How do I delete multiple rows based on a range of values in google sheets apps script?

Say for example, I have a new sheet, column A, with the several animals listed, like A1 = Cheetah, A2= Hen etc. I want to delete those rows which contain the same values as column A.

How would this work in Google Apps Script?
