I'd like to deploy a JavaFX project which contains the jre with Java and JavaFX library, necessary to execute the application without installing anything.
I'm using Java11 with JavaFX11 and Ecplise as IDE. For example, on Windows I make the resulting folder containing the jre with the following command:
jlink --module-path "C:\<path-to-javafx-mods>\javafx-jmods-11.0.2";bin;libs --add-modules=project --add-modules=jdk.crypto.ec --output fxjreWin --compress=2 --strip-debug --no-header-files --no-man-pages
This way basically I get a folder named fxjreWin - which size is less than 50MB, since it's not a big project - that contains the runtime to execute the app.
Then I export the app as a jar, and run the code with fxjreWin\bin\java -jar app.jar.
Is that a correct way to deploy a JavaFX application?
