My requirement is to detect any moving object which appears in the camera frame. the moving object size will be very small. I have a PTZ camera, with this I want to detect the moving object at longer distances. let say if I use yolo with python, I'm able to classify the object at around 250-300 meters. So, I need to find an algorithm which detects the motion of a object beyond 500 - 600 meters with faster processing rate, no need of classification.
Note: I'm using PTZ camera. camera specifications:
- 1920x1080 resolution
- 30X optical zoom
I tried background subtraction algorithm and optical flow motion detection algorithm but the results are not as expected. which algorithms should I consider.
