I'm trying to create a app where I use an app bar with a Dropdownbutton throughout all the pages in the app. The values from a dropdownbutton are obtained after a http.get API call. The values from this dropdownbutton should display their respective contents after selection. And this should happen in whichever page they are selected from since in all the pages the app bar containing this dropdownbutton is constant. I'm thinking of using a provider for this. Is this okay?
http.get -> response -> create List from the response -> Use this list for the dropdowbutton. How should I proceed while using provider
