I was wondering if there's a code parser / generator available for typescript which outputs typescript files. I am ideally looking to insert a pre-build stage before compilation where I identify a function call and its inputs and replace them conditionally with generated inputs.
It's not possible to do this manually because of backwards compatibility and the obvious need to preserve the original files in case this pre-build stage goes haywire.
I was looking at the the typescript compiler API but I don't think it fits my use case. It's more about adding additional safeguards on top of typescript.
