Websocket authorized: false explained

Viewed 34

So I am in a learning phase with WebSockets as I explore encryption and best practices. I have looked all over but have not found a good answer.

I have the simple code of:

    wss.on('connection', function connection(ws) {
        console.log(ws)
    }

in the return i noticed this:

    alpnProtocol: http/1.1,
    authorized: false,
    authorizationError: null,

What is "authorized"? why is it "false"? Should it be true? Does it have anything to do with security?
