Install PHP Redis extension for MAMP server environment on Mac

Hello Im trying to install PHPRedis extension on MAMP server environment on mac and have installed it but phpinfo() does not display it, its to sort an issue with wordpress site displaying: Fatal error: Uncaught RedisCachePro\Exceptions\PhpRedisMissingException: Object Cache Pro requires the PHP extension PhpRedis 3.1.1 or newer. The PhpRedis extension is not loaded in this environment (apache2handler).
