Sending object of type=file in redux actions

I was trying to select a file through input tag of type file . Now when I select file , i get the selected file from event.target.files[0] and then I am dispatching action with payload (event.target.files[0]) but it's dispatching with empty value.In console i can see ,the file i selected but unable to store this file in redux store . If i am passing any string it gets updated in store but for this selected file ,it's not updating the state.Happening only when I am dispatching action with that (event.target.files[0]) . Can any one help me with this issue? Checking redux devtools extension in chrome : that particular action s is not able to send that file in payload.There payload is showing as empty object
