I'm writing a web app which generates a random string every time a page is requested. It's imperative that the string is different every time the page is loaded, but this isn't the case as the browser caches the page and only requests a new page, and therefore different string when the cache is cleared.
I've already tried
<meta http-equiv="Cache-Control" content="no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate" />
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache" />
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="0" />
but to no avail.
