I am an app developer and I want to offer digital content on my Android app. Google's Payment Policy states that all digital content purchased through the app must use Google Play's Billing system.
But if I use In-App billing, I have to pay 15-30% of revenue to Google. Some companies like Udemy apparently don't have to follow this rule. As you can see from the attached gif (taken on 2022-04-14), they allow payment by credit card for their courses which is clearly digital content.
So my question is how do I allow for external payments on my app without violating Google's Policies?
