How to download image in React.js?

I use this to download -

<a href={`${link}`} download="file">Download</a>

But it's not working for me. I use the Chrome browser. It just opens the file in the browser.

Try adding target="_blank":

<a href={`${link}`} download="file" target="_blank" >Download</a>
