Print items from PostgreSQL Table using Python

Viewed 69

I am trying to print out items from the TABLE array using Python:

I have the following TABLE:

report
---------------
{test1,test2}
(1 row)

I have tried this:

rows = await self.client.pg_con.fetch("SELECT report FROM reports WHERE user_id = $1", member_id)
            new_list=[]
            for item in rows:
                new_list.append(rows)
                print(new_list)

And i get this output <Record report=['test1', 'test2']>

How can i get only test1 and test2 as output ?
