When debugging in Edge, it says that display: browser is no longer allowed to get the install prompt with PWAs. I know there is work in progress for a tabbed application mode but, until then, is there a workaround to open a PWA in the browser?
On the desktop, the site need to be able to allow multiple tabs and we'd like to to take advantage of other install features such as having shortcuts via the manifest. Tried searching but couldn't find any alternatives nor the reason why "browser" can't be used.
