Storybook - how to have links to sections without opening an iframe

Working on the 6.3.4 version of Storybook. It's a React project.

I have a page that has links to sections on that page

const NavBarElement = ({ text }) => (
<a href={`#${text}`} className={classes.navBarElement}>
    {text}
</a>

);

In that story I will have divs with those ids

Now in Storybook those links show up as:

http://localhost:61276/iframe.html?id=welcome--welcome&viewMode=story#about

Clicking on that link opens the iframe, hiding away the Storybook menus, etc..

Any way around this?
