Stuck on Configuring the Bitcoin Core Build

following Andreas Antonopoulos Master bitcoin book.

I'm sadly already stuck on Chapter 3, Configuring the Bitcoin Core Build.

1. I cloned a local copy of the bitcoin source code.
2. Selected a bitcoin Core Release. (v0.11.2) $ git status

When I try open the more doc/build-windows.md command I get Invalid Parameters - /build-windows.md

After using the file explorer, I cannot see the build-windows.md file

I don't know what repositories I need to install for my windows machine and cant run ./autogen.sh

Please help?
