How to make border line visible around kivy layout and button

I'm new in kivy, i'm trying to create a user profile page and I want the segment that hold the user infomation to be in gridlayout. My problem is that I've been trying to add border line to the gridlayout and actionbutton but couldn't, do to the lack of experience. please how can I add border line around the gridlayout and the actionbutton.

You can make a border line by drawing two rectangles, the second being slightly smaller than the first, leaving a border showing around the edges of the second rectangle.

For the ActionButton, you can extend that class to change the way it is drawn. In the kv file:

Then use MyActionButton instead of ActionButton where you want a bordered ActionButton.

You can add a border to a GridLayout in a similar way. Add these instructions to the GridLayout rule in the kv file:

You may notice that the border might not enclose everything that you added to the GridLayout. That will happen when the contents of the GridLayout are larger than the GridLayout.
