I need to calculate the area of the different part of the brain in about 600 pictures like this (List of different parts are in the bottom of the picture):
I have access to both PNG and SVG of these atlases, which one should I use? If I want to use PNG files should I find contours with OpenCV? What about SVG files? High accuracy is not needed since I only want to sort different parts by area and I don't need the actual area so I'm looking for the easiest way.
