Collapsing Toolbar with RecyclerView fragment

I would want to collapse my toolbar from a fragment. The problem is that I am using TabLayout inside of BottomNavigationView's fragment. The RecyclerView is in every fragment of the TabLayout and the Toolbar is in the main activity with the BottomNavigationView. So my layout hierarchy looks like this:

MainActivity: Toolbar, BottomNavigationView
->Fragment 1: TabLayout
--->Fragment: RecyclerView
--->Fragment: RecyclerView
--->Fragment: RecyclerView
->Fragment 2
->Fragment 3

Is it possible to collapse the toolbar like this?
