Corrupt JPG, exceeded buffer limits

I am trying to add an image (on react native page) using the following code:

    style={{width: 300}}
    source={require('../../../assets/images/indian-heap-colourful-spices.jpg')}
  /> 

This has caused the following error :

 Corrupt JPG, exceeded buffer limits

This is an image specific issue, other images are working fine.

Image file size 1.1 MB Other image properties are as follows :

Please help me in understanding what's causing this issue.
