I have a domain (fingain.info) registered via Google Domains. The domain is pointing to a Google Cloud website. Was able to access the website via the domain for the last 3 months. But since in the last few days, the domain has become inaccessible. I think the issue is not related to the DNS resource records but more basic, at the domain registration/resolution level. Google Domains tech support have checked the resource records and they all look fine. 'dig' command pointed at one of the Google Domains nameservers returns fine:
$ dig fingain.info @ns-cloud-d1.googledomains.com
; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> fingain.info @ns-cloud-d1.googledomains.com
;; global options: +cmd

However with a 'public' nameserver, it returns NXDOMAIN:
$ dig fingain.info @8.8.8.8
; <<>> DiG 9.10.6 <<>> fingain.info @8.8.8.8
;; global options: +cmd

Both https://info.info/find-domain/fingain.info and ICANN lookup (https://lookup.icann.org/lookup) show the domain has been registered, but the status is serverHold. Not sure what that means, and more importantly, how to resolve it, if that's the issue.
Any help appreciated.
