We have an ASP.NET Core 2.1 web API which has the target framework of .NET framework 4.7.2. We are using a build server with .NET Core 2.1 SDK installed along with .NET framework 4.7.2 to build and deploy the application using CI/CD of TFS. While having .Net Core 2.1 SDK installed along with .NET Framework 4.7.2 in the build server the application buils and deployed successfully and worked properly using TFS build jobs.
However due to another new application requirement we had to install the .NET Core 3.1 into our build server. Now the build server have .NET Core 2.1 running along with .NET Framework version 4.7.2 and .NET Core 3.1 SDK Installed.
Even though the TFS build and deployment is successfully completed the API application does not get up and running. Even we tried manually executing the API exe it does not start. We tried out many solutions with the errors we got but nothing solved this problem.
Note : we are using Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Version 16.131.28226.3 and Visual Studio 2017.
And in the local machine having both .Net Core 2.1 and .Net Core 3.1 works fine.
Any help regarding this is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
