I have always wondered if it's possible to do the following in PHP:
for($x = 1; $x <= 50; $x++)
echo $x;
this would output:
1234 etc...
Obviously it wouldn't be this code specifically since it would be almost instantaneous and you wouldn't even be able to see the incrementation take place.
Now to my question: would it be possible to echo it, remove it, repeat? Simply put the output should be on the same line from start to finish. I don't know how to explain it or show, but here is an example (somewhat):
1 (backspace) 2 (backspace) etc...
I hope you can understand it, I don't know how else to explain it .-.
Thank you for the help!
EDIT: This is for console by the way, sorry I forgot to include that. This isn't for the web!
