AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges is deprecated

Since updating to OSX 10.7 Lion, Xcode tells me that AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges is deprecated.

Can anyone suggest a way my application can write to a directory it doesn't have permission for?
