So I am trying to compile wine 7.0 on my 2019 Macbook Pro (Big Sur) and I did ./config and then make and compiling took nearly two hours, during which CPU utilization for that task was at around 2%. I have a core i9 and 32 GB of RAM, so it doesn't seem to be a hardware limitation. I heard of others online with far lower specs compiling in about 10 minutes. There was hardly any RAM or disk usage either. It did complete, but there is no way it should take so long. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
