When I go to the Azure backup recovery function and select the backup volume that I want to mount, even after two hours it never mounts.

I have received this advice on the Azure "ask a question" forum, and changed to the suggested registry settings, but the volume still never mounts: I understand that you're trying to mount backup volume nd it isn't happening.
