Every time i try to type in the terminal of vs code it seems that the the text doesn't appear or it will appear when i press the space bar key and have moved any for the area i type. I have tried removing vscode and then installing it, i have also attempted to changed version of vscode for mac and currently i am using the insider version. This Imac is new and i haven't had it for long but his issue is hard to get over as i will be using the terminal to code with and run specific things. Is there a way to fix this or make the terminal for vscode external and go to Iterm. I have looked for other examples of how to fix this but it seems almost impossible to find fixes for this on mac but i have seen fixes for windows but things aren't the same. If anyone could help me fix this issue or work around this it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
This is what the terminal looks like when I start it. As you can see it looks blank. As soon as i select it all it will show up with the terminal start up message like always.
This is when i select all the text that is there it will now show up in vscode or when i space bar or keep typing random text for a bit

This is a picture of what happens when i type something in vscode Terminal
This is my current mac Version if that will help me any
