Email settings in Jenkins can't be effective

I set up jenkins on my macos laptop, i tried to change Email default subject, content, but it never takes effective, e.g. its subject is always "Build failed in Jenkins: ..... #.."

Can anybody help here? I have already checked many blogs on this issue but none of them help, I followed them but it still not be effective
