Can I use Server-Side scripting(PHP, ASPX, Java Server Pages) instead of JavaScript?

I'm trying to build my own website, and have encountered a problem:

I need JavaScript.

I f*cking hate JavaScript.

Now, I've heard of Server-Side Dynamic Websites, and the question is in the title;

Can I use Server-Side scripting to dodge JS?
