How do I install ubuntu desktop VM on UTM virtual machine (on Mac M1 processor?)

So I have an assignment for my networking class that includes downloading Ubuntu on VM. In the textbook, they use windows, so the VM is supposed to be Oracle VirtualBox but it is not compatible with my Mac so i installed UTM VM for Mac instead. But now I cannot install the Ubuntu server into my UTM VM. screenshot of the error message
