How start Asp.net core + RESTfull API

Hello I would like to ask for help :P I am just starting to learn RESTFULL API and would like to know where to look for a good start. I would like to design web applications based on Asp.net Core using the API. I am interested in how to establish a connection via httpClient to the API server with authorization. Can you recommend any tutorials with sample code or books. Thank you for your help .
