I am wondering about a solution as part of business continuity plan (BCP). Users should be able to access the project related critical documents from some storage (like NAS, OneDrive/cloud storage, Sharepoint etc) into their local hard drive. I need to evaluate various storage method like NAS, Flash Drive, External Hard Drive, Share point, cloud based storage etc by comparative analysis and list pros and cons of each storage before presenting to business.
Kindly advise:
- what all questions I should ask business to unfold the requirement for this scenario (what should I know to desgin or architect this type of solution?
- what all parameters should be under considerations when evaluating various approach like data security/audit , space/volumetric, access control, Situations when BCP will be required like internet is down, LAN is down etc.
