Getting a -bash-4.2$ in SuperPutty login prompt instead of the regular -username@hostname:~$

Viewed 25

I'm not a Linux / UNIX regular user, I just need to be able to log in a host and issue a certain command from time to time.

However when I got my UNIX account credentials given to me and tried to log in the host via SuperPutty, I am getting this prompt:

What I would expect is something like this:

In the prompt that I get, I can't run any command etc.

Please let me know how to fix this.
