Edit: Question is updated with more information.
I currently have maps that uses EPSG 4326 projection with tile height and width of 512. My code below does display the maps correctly (using OpenLayers 6.5.0):
tempTileLayer = new TileLayer({
source: new XYZSource({
url: url + '/tile/{z}/{y}/{x}',
maxZoom: 18,
projection: 'EPSG:4326',
tileSize: 256, // the tile size supported by the ArcGIS tile service
maxResolution: 180 / 256, // Esri's tile grid fits 180 degrees on one 512 px tile
wrapX: true,
})
However, I have another map that uses EPSG 4326 but tile height and width is 256. The map does not display correctly (notice that the tiles displayed discontinuously, with "vertical" separation between the mis-matched tiles):
The information for the "good" maps are as follows:

They are both using projection EPSG 4326, and my code has specified that. I cannot figure out why the "good" map displays correctly and the "bad" map is displaying distorted. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
