I have some domains registered in ionos.com, when I purchased one of these, I forgot to uncheck an extra service with cost, I pay for 5 years the domain and the service was included "free" the first year.
After the year, ionos wants to charge me another year of the "extra service" and they can not for insufficient funds, when I noticed that, I go to the dashboard and "cancel" the service. I am able to cancel the service, for this moment, the domain do not have the service anymore, but ionos.com still wants to charge me the entire year of the service.
I call to support and they told me that maybe they charge me a penalty fee for the cancelation, I agreed with that and they told me that they contact me via email when the operation was completed.
Now, after a month, the dashboard says that they turn the charge to collection company. so I can not pay direct to ionos and I need wait to the collection company and I can not use my domain
