Stack exchange is a knowledge sharing site. Questions get closed after inactivity - good. Software and hardware changes often make further comments inaccurate for the actual case. However we find these questions years later and they should work as a starting point. I propose that after questions close the system allow adding links to similar questions.
The idea comes from canlii.org a legal case law website. If you find a relevant case the first line is the title and the second line provides "cited cases", a link to a list of older cases and "treatments", a link to a list of newer cases. Thus one can more deeply and quickly examine the knowledge base.
