Horizontal and vertical fragmentation in java

How to implement horizontal and vertical fragmentation (Modern database system) in java. I have tried this question by I am not able to get to proper conclusion can anybody help me with code. I want to implement horizontal and vertical fragmentation in java can anybody help?
