I'm with a small, tech-challenged children's museum. We're trying to set up an interactive "TSA" area in our aviation exhibit, where kids can send luggage through a scanner and a screen will display the contents of the suitcase/bag. Our idea is to use a QR code scanner, connected to a computer, have an open browser, and have the browser window display an image of the contents when the QR code is scanned. I can get this to work when I'm in a browser and it's ready for input, but I can't scan a QR code and have the browser automatically open a new tab.
Any ideas on how I can get the QR code to open a new tab or browser window automatically? Are there better ways to achieve this same end result?
Thanks.
