cardano node on gke cannot find vrf.skey

I am trying to start a cardano node on GKE by following this amazing (not sarcastic, it truly has gotten me 99% of the way there) tutorial: https://tdiesler.gitbook.io/cardano/k8s/cardano-k8s

However I am now running into an issue where it appears the node cannot find its vrf.skey. This is super frustrating because I have deleted/readded the secret over and over thinking maybe a typo was the issue, but no luck.

This is the command to save the secret:

kubectl create secret generic nodekeys --from-file=keys.skey --from-file=vrf.skey --from-file=node.cert

Here are the logs from the bprod pod. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
