I'm not looking to manipulate seo related things I'm just curious what I should do. Right now oldDomain.com points to newDomain.com with a server side redirect in nginx.
We have a robots.txt file and I'll be adding a robots meta tag throughout the old site application.
Is there a way I tell Google to remove oldDomain.com from search or will that happen organically with time? If I tell Google to index the site again will they see the no-index and remove?
