Is there any algorithm to evaluate the similarity of the logic of reasoning between paragraphs? The Paragraphs A and B below discuss completely different things. Yet, human can tell how similar their reasonings are. (X is Y. It is true that X is also Z. Yet, X is still Y.)
Paragraph A:
Google offers a good search engine. Of course, we have concerns about privacy. Yet, we cannot dismiss how the amount of knowledge we can acquire through the Google search engine benefited the development of science.
Paragraph B:
Recently, Japan has been suffering from inflation. Some people say inflation is a good sign of economic growth. Hearing how low-income Japanese suffer from the recent inflation, I still think inflation is bad.
