I am using Ubuntu 22.04. I want to disable the red trackpoint button that comes with thinkpad laptops. I disabled it from BIOS, it got disabled on windows but when I boot into ubuntu I saw it is still enabled ( I have dual boot) How can I disable the trackpoint on ubuntu? Tried all the old commands available on internet, xinput --list gives all the buttons id except the trackpoint or i dont know the trackpoints generic name? I dont know. I posted on askubuntu 4 days ago but got no responses. I really need to disable the trackpoint as it keeps moving. Here is the xinput command output
