reactjs vs nodejs .. if we can get,post, delete and can do pretty much everything in react then why nodejs

I'm currently working with Reactjs and in the tutorials we are fetching api, get, post, delete, authenticate and everything, so I want to know what is need of nodejs if we can do pretty much anything on reactjs..please help
