Trying to print statements that print a smaller string, long, then small string again

For example :

a would be added with b, and then a would be said again without a space

cheeseburgeroidcheese ^a ][ ^b ][ a^ ]

Yes this is for a class in computer science, and yes I am dumbfounded on string commands
