I wanted to download ubuntu and use VirtualBox to run it. When I started, it was taking forever to download. When I searched for a solution on google for a quick download, it recommended to download it from this site: http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/ubuntu/releases/ The platform name is AARNet Mirror. I downloaded it from this site and it was quick. But then I started worrying if the download is safe. I do not want the folder to be loaded with viruses or malwares. Has anyone downloaded some content from here before? Can someone please explain me about the platform (AARNet mirror) and whether it offers safe content? I will be more than happy if someone at least visits the above URL and confirm its safety. I am worried as my pc doesn't have any third party antivirus software and I do not want it to be corrupted by viruses. Thank you in advance.
