This question is more of a “How to find the path” then a specific issue.
I have recently decided that I want to become “pro” at the Mail Relay topic, as some part of my work(I am in charge of an Email Security system)
What I do/know related to this world: 1.Understanding email headers
2.knowledge of investigating phishing/soofed emails by headers analyse
3.Understanding deep how SPF,DKIM, DMARC works and how to “create/configure” them
4.Understanding SMTP CLI commands and their results for the actual mail headers
5.Understanding what are MX record, as well knowing difference between IMAP&POP3
My question is, what is the “next” step to becoming better/professional? What are the topics that I need to learn from here?
When I search for Mail Relay guides, paths online, it is usually always talks about the things I wrote above, but I’m sure that this world is much bigger and there’s a lot more to learn in order to become a professional integrator at this topic.
Would love for some advices.
