I'm trying to figure out if someone has accessed or used my external hard drive.
It is a Mac OS Formatted Journelled on a seagate external hard drive with a Time Capsule back up on it.
I realised that when I plug the hard drive in to my laptop it and I select "get info" on the hard drive it updates the modified date every time I plug it in, I'm not sure if this would also update if plugging in from a windows machine? Currently it only shows the modified date of when I plugged it in which is of no use, but I was wondering if there was a way to see a previous log for the hard drive of every time it has been "modified" instead of just the last time. I also opened a few folders which has updated the "last opened" time and was wondering if the same thing could be applied to this so that I can view a log or something similar where it shows all times opened / modified instead of just the last time.
If there are any other suggestions as to how I can see more if the hard drive was accessed that would be greatly appreciated.
