I am fighting over the use of Automator to apply a quartz filter on PDF files (Reduce size, by default in preview).
My case is as follow, I have numerous pdf files - scanned document that are huge and size that I want to share online and thus reduce the size.
I have define a Automator quick action to apply the quartz filter and only that. I have define a shortcut (F17) to apply the quick action.
The results is that I have the file reduction but ALSO a random rotation of pages +/- 90°.
For record, Applying the filter in Preview does not lead to rotation. Applying the filter in preview to all files is not ideal (numerous files and lots files and numerous sub-folders). Thanks for any help!
